Subject: Dan's Progress

Hello Everyone,

 

I just got word that Dan was released to go home today.  I just hope it was not too soon, as he is still very, very sick. I talked to him this morning; he sounded better, but is still very weak.  He said, the doctor was working on the papers to release him today.

 

He has to stay on the H1N1 flu medicine another week and on the antibiotics for pneumonia another week; then he sees the doctor a week or so after that for follow up, plus another x-ray.  They want to check him for asthma. They think the spots on his lungs were caused by the flu.  (He tested negative for TB and HIV. His white blood cell count was so low that they thought he might have HIV, so they questioned him about his life style etc.)

 

This is good news, but PLEASE continue praying for him.  He said, I'm better, but not out of the woods. 

 

Sandra wants to THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR PRAYERS, AND I SAY A BIG THANK YOU TOO. God is so good, to notice the likes of us, who are so small and unworthy. I really appreciate each of you who wrote to assure me of your prayers.  Friends are so dearly appreciated and we seldom acknowledge them.
