Hello Everyone,

“A godly life is a fragrance that draws others to Christ.”

After forwarding the latest prayer request concerning Kari Gregg, I realized I had not forwarded Pete and Joy Palmer's note from November 4.

"Our sweet little grandson, Kayden John, is now with Jesus. Thank you for your prayers." —Pete and Joy Palmer.

My favorite niece was married last Saturday here at the church house in Bell Gardens. It was a “double-knot” wedding, one knot in English, the other knot in Spanish. Congratulations Sarah and Jose!

The Rigsbys left town for a little vacation this week. Long overdue and well deserved. Good for them!

William Whiting Borden was born on November 1, 1887. His father was a millionaire. When he graduated high school, his parents gifted him with a trip around the world. This experience was instrumental in motivating Borden to become a missionary. William Whiting Borden: The Millionaire Who Wanted to be a Missionary.

In the account of Elijah and widow of Zarephath we can see how Elijah’s miracle is an illustration of Jesus Christ as our provider. His jar is "Never empty".
