Hello Everyone,

An abbreviated email this week, asking for your help in prayer.

Pastor Tony Núñez will have an angiogram procedure Monday at 7:00 AM. Depending on the results, an angioplasty may follow immediately, otherwise more extensive surgery may be necessary later.

Maria Rosales will be in court Monday. You may remember Maria's 33 year old son, Johnny, died recently. Johnny's two children were removed from their mother last week. Maria would like to gain custody.

There were 42 children participating in the Spanish congregation’s one-day “Vacation Bible School.” At the closing ceremony, several parents were also present. One 12 year old girl trusted Jesus Christ as her Savior! The second one-day VBS is scheduled for September.

Pam Holmberg’s daughter-in-law, Stephanie, is home from the hospital. While still weak, she is better and slowly regaining her health from this latest surgery.

James Jespen’s surgery proceeded as scheduled. He will meet with his doctor soon to discuss further options. More cancer was discovered in his arm, not all of it could be removed. The day after surgery, James surprised us by being at the Wednesday service (which he usually participates in).

Mike and Berniece Cosgrove, along with Brian are visiting Sherry and Josh and Phoebe in Ohio. They will be traveling for a couple of weeks.

While waiting for his own surgery to be rescheduled, Don Prettyman learned that his nephew William has a blood clot in his leg and great-niece Melissa is facing several difficult issues at the same time.

After what has seemed like months of bad and worse news, on Friday Shirley Garrison was a little improved. She remains in the hospital and if the improvement continues, she will not be transferred to UC San Francisco.

Armon and Elona Siemsen are helping prepare for their Fullerton church’s VBS Sunday afternoon and evening. This ministry begins Monday and continues all week. Additionally, the Siemsen’s friend, Gary is waiting for clearance on a nasal surgery that will help make breathing easier.

Thank you for rejoicing with us in God's blessings and praying with us for God's mercy.

Jim
