Dear IBTrACS Team,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is majinzi, and I am currently  a student at Tianjin University. I am writing to request access to the IBTrACS hurricane data in .nc format for academic research.

My research focuses on Atmospheric duct, and the data provided by IBTrACS is critical for analyzing [specific objectives, e.g., the behavior of hurricanes over the past decades, tracking trends in tropical cyclone activity, etc.].

If required, I am happy to provide further details about my project or research objectives and adhere to any usage guidelines and acknowledgments as stipulated by IBTrACS.

I kindly request instructions on how to download the desired .nc files or any permissions needed to access the dataset.

Thank you for maintaining such an invaluable resource for the scientific community. I look forward to your positive response.

Warm regards,
