Hurricane track forecast data availability

Hi, 

During hurricane season, how long before the hurricane landfall is the data for hurricane path available in IBTrACS? 

Do we have the forecast data (such as Lat/Lon/Windspeed/SSHS) 3-5 days before hurricane? If yes, how frequently is it updated during that time?

Hi-

 IBTrACS is not to be used for decisions of life and property in real time. IBTrACS does not contain any forecasts for tropical cyclone tracks and is not an operational source for real-time data. For forecast info, we would direct you to the WMO RSMC with responsibility for your region.
