Hi,

IBTrACS has cyclones Mekunu and Sagar of 2018NIO considered as one disturbance. My personal research found nothing indicating Sagar (IO02) somehow regenerated from Mekunu (IO01) which had made landfall on Africa, so I'm curious about what supports the merge.
