IBTrACS Website Usage and possible downtime

Hi All-

The IBTrACS data are provided as web-browseable data at the following site:

http://ibtracs.unca.edu/

(while somewhat primitive, it provides track data information, maps, etc. for historical and recent storms that is updated weekly by IBTrACS)

However, due to changes at UNCA, we will likely be changing the location of these services or possibly discontinuing entirely. 

If there are any users who would be impacted by the loss of this site (or a downtime of weeks to months when moved), please let us know by emailing:

 ibtracs 'dot' team 'at' noaa.gov.
