Best Track update for 2021 and new IBTrACS browse site

Hi IBTrACS users

Update

The Best Track Data for calendar year 2021is now included in IBTrACS and is available through our website.  This includes 2021 updates for JTWC, HKO, JMA, CMA, and IMD. IBTrACS already has 2021 data from NHC because it was added in June. (Though this update has a couple corrections in the North Atlantic for 2021).

The Southern Hemisphere data are updated through the 2020-2021 Season. The 2021-2022 season will be added when all BT data become available* (which will be next year when JTWC data is available for the Southern Hemisphere).

New Browse Site

There is a new home for the IBTrACS browse data. IBTrACS would like to thank UNCA for its many years of partnership with IBTrACS and now we announce the support of CICSNC: https://ncics.org/ibtracs/

This site still hosts the browseable IBTrACS data and is updated 3x weekly.
