SAS Windows 8 Installation Steps

SAS Windows 8 installation Steps:

1) Update Java. 

2) install attached file WSE.exe

3) Java SE Run Time environment depending on Type of Operating System (32 bit / 64 bit).  (For 32 bit Operating system install windows x86). 

3) Restart system. 

4) Original Antivirus required and (Before installing SAS - disable antivirus for 2 hours. 

5) follow all steps written in guide

6) When an error occurs while installing Sas Foundation, Click retry, and open the log file for error, go to end of file,

if errror is: file already exists, go to c:/program files/sas/ and serach for the particular file in search and delete that file

and click on retry

Retry till Sas foundation is installed with no errors.

For other than Sas Foundation Errors click- YES to ALL, note the item not installed properly with green tick and after finishing setup follow these steps:

Reinstalling the SAS missing Components: 

1) Run Setup. 2) Select language as ‘English’ then Select OK button.  

3) Select ‘Install SAS software’ button from SAS Deployment Wizard window.  

 

4) Select ‘Install Additional Software’ from SAS Deployment Wizard window. 

 

5) Select missing components (which you already taken as screenshots) using product search and find, then select that particular component and dependent components. 

  

6) Remaining installation will be same .
