About lecture

In the complex business environment today, the deployment and execution of strategies are a key aspect of success criteria for organizations. The strategies not only need to take care of internal development, but must also take into account how the external business climate is changing over a period of time.

The fundamental questions that the session will discuss are as follows:-
·         What are the nuts and bolts of strategy deployment?
·         What does an implementation look and feel like?
·         What are the underlying execution models and how do they differ from each other?
·         What kind of management is required for success?

About speaker

Rajshekhar Roy (Raj) has an experience of over 25 years in the corporate world with the IT and ITES industry. For the last 13 years he has been in top management roles and has had two stints as CEO, each for about 4 years. As part of these roles he has been leading the efforts in strategy deployment and implementation in these organizations. His functional expertise is in sales, customer service and organization development. He has managed cross cultural global operations and is experienced in integration of acquired companies.

Raj has a BE degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Jadavpur university, Kolkata and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta. He is a certified trainer in Consultative Sales, Negotiation methods, Strategic planning and Change management. He has executed consulting and training assignments for Business Standard, Crompton Greaves, Bunge Industries, Intense Technologies, Ernst & Young and Mettler Toledo. He has also implemented ISO and CMMi level 5 quality systems in companies he has worked in.

Raj is currently the CEO of Goldstone Technologies, a software services company based in Hyderabad.
