Dear Students,
We will be discussing the following topics in coming week.
1. Goiporia Committee recommendations
2. Ombudsman scheme
3. RBI roles and functions
Materials on Goiporia Committee recommendations and banking Ombudsman scheme are enclosed. We will discuss these two first and then RBI.
I am sure by this time you are aware of almost all the functions of RBI. The enclosed material provides the roles and functions of RBI.
The ppt does not explain about Repo/Rev Repo/Bank rate/MSF/CRR/SLR etc. as those are already covered in the class.
I have also discussed BASEL committee recommendations. I will touch again on BASEL.
Go through the enclosed materials and we will discuss all the three subjects and also make a revision from the first class in the next week.
