By Prof. Gopinath Pillai: In our earlier class we discussed about IAS,
US GAAP & Indian GAAP and also touched on IFRS (International
Financial Reporting System) - I also said that we will discuss this
again when we talk about the current developments in Financial
statements. I suggest that you start gathering articles on IFRS and
read through this - it is very important that you know about the
current developments.
Groups have been formed for FSA and MCIS (only for Sec C). Please pass
on the file and information.
Prof. Pillai has also asked to read the file "how risky is our
company". This would be discussed on 23rd June (Tue), which would be
linked to one of the reports in an annual report.
