This is for code. People who have issues with programming using the library of IBpy. I think you might be in the wrong place.

Ok, the IBPY board here is inactive. You'll get more help on the Yahoo TWSAPI board but not for python as its not a supported language by IB. If I were you, and I once was, I would get IB's JavaAPIgettingstarted pdf from IB's API website and spend some time with it. The function calls for IBPY were derived directly from the Java API. Portfolio stuff starts on page 93.
