Dear Modelica interested,

The American Modelica Conference 2024 will be an in-person conference event, with an option to watch presentations streamed online for a reduced conference admission fee. The conference will take place at the University of Connecticut in Storrs in the Innovation Partnership Building from October 14–16, 2024. It is organized by NAMUG, the North American Modelica Users Group, in cooperation with the Modelica Association and the University of Connecticut. Join us in person in Storrs or watch from the comfort of your own home.

The Modelica Conference will cover modeling of complex physical and cyber-physical systems as well as tools, for a wide range of research and industrial applications. The Modelica Conference is the main event for users, library developers, tool vendors and language designers to share their knowledge and learn about the latest scientific and industrial progress related to Modelicathe Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI), the System Structure and Parameterization Standard (SSP), the alpha release of the eFMI Standard for embedded systems, and the DCP-Standard for the distributed co-simulation protocol. More information can be found on the conference page: https://modelica.org/events/american2024 and in the call for papers.

For scientific presentations, you are encouraged to submit a full paper until May 1, 2024. Every submitted paper will be reviewed by at least 3 reviewers.

If you would like to submit to an industrial user group session, you are encouraged to submit an abstract until June 1, 2024.

In addition to earlier conferences, this conference will offer a “Best Student Paper” award. You can find the details in the call for papers.

More details about the “call for papers”, “call for industrial user Presentations”, “call for vendor presentations”, and “call for tutorials/workshops” can be found in the call for papers.

We look forward to seeing you in Connecticut this October,
