Akbariyya Tariqat

Like other well known Tariqa like
Naqshubandiya,Qadrya,Chistia,Suhurwardiya Ibn arabi is the founder of
Akbariyya Tariqa. .His and his followers books
like.Fusus,Futuhat,Tadbeerat,Haulul Hayat,Manaqib there are mention of
this Tariqa and its descriptions.
Some of the Arif(Wise Man) in their books says about this Tariqa-"This
Tariqa is capable of preparing man to reach from the high
Maqam(station) of Abdal to the highest Maqam of Qutb.{(Qutb is the
highest in the spiritual hierarchy of Insan Kamil.Also known as
Gaus,Katam al
Auliya.Qutb-1,Awtad-4,AHBAR-7,Abdal-40,Nujabag-70-Nukaba-320.(There are
difference in this reports.members are welcome to express
differences)}.
The special feature of Akbariyya Tariqa is it enables man in an easy
way to prepare for the attainment of Marifat(Wisdom ) and
Kamaliyath(perfection)
The foundation of this tariqa depends on four Zahiri(exotic,external)
and five Batin(esoteric,internal) things.Four zahir are
Silence,Solitude,Hunger and sleep depravement. Five Batins are
Iman,Tawakkal,Sabr,resolution,yaqin.(futuhat-vol-1-277)
The Form of the Tariqa.
First the Shayk advice the Murid to Tauba from all major and minor
sins.The murid is seated opposite the shayk and the shayk place his
hand over the hand of the murid.He advics the murid to close his eyes
then the shayk says 'la ilah illallah' three times.After intensely
listening to this the murid repeat it.
Then the shayk for Tabarruk recite the the ayat from Quran with the
following meaning.
"whoever byat with you he is in realty doing byat with Allah.The hand
of Allah is above their hands.whoever breaks the byat he is in reality
breaking the covenent with his own nafs.Whoever complete the covenent
Allah will give him very grat recompence.-Quran
With this procedure the Murid enters the tariqat.
Then daily at least one time the murid has to recite the following
wird.
1-istigfar-100 times(Astau firlahul aleem)
2-Tauhid-100 times(la ilah ill allah)
3-Allahu-100 times
4-Salat-100 times(Allahumma salliala sayidina Muhammadin wala ali
sayyidna Muhammed)
