Is this supported on IBM i? Still using the PTF-provided .whl which is now quite dated, but I'm confused by the feature above that states "Inspectdb support for AS400". Is that for remote connections e.g Db2 Connect only?

Also, now that ibm_db_django has its own GitHub repo, is there going to be an ibmi branch like previously (for ibm_db) or is the point to merge codebases? That would be fantastic.

Regarding the inspectdb support, the changes do not appear to be specific to using DB2 Connect. It merely checks what type of server it's connected to and changes the SQL syntax appropriately.

Unfortunately we have not had time to test this latest release on IBM i. It is certainly a goal to merge the changes that were made for both ibm_db and ibm_db_django, though. Since the code is open source (available in the ibmi branch in ibm_db), anyone in the community can work on merging the changes if they wish.
