Greetings,

 

My name is Harry Fair and I am engineering director at AMD in Boxborough, MA.  I am also a former colleague of several of those impacted by the reduction in force at IBM last week.  I am sorry for the disappointment, uncertainty and upset many of you are dealing with.

 

In an attempt to help I would like to invite all of you to attend a “Meet and Greet” this Friday at the AMD facility in Boxborough, MA.  Several of the site hiring managers along with our staffing manager will give a short overview of their groups, describe the positions available, answer questions and collect resumes (optional).  (In addition to updating your resumes I strongly encourage all of you to update your LinkedIn page details as many employers use this tool to source candidates and screen their qualifications.)

 

There are currently over 20 open positions in Boxborough and more to be added soon.  The AMD job listing search page is at the link below – to view the Boxborough openings first select United States from the “Country” pulldown and Massachusetts in the “State” pulldown.
