I saw this online and found it somewhat interesting interesting. It's a 1971 DataPro report on the 1130.

That is pretty interesting - an objective review of the system from a 1971 perspective. Gosh I'd love to get hold of the Graphics Subroutine Package, and the Fortran FORTRAN Subroutines for Data Transmission. It would help get some more hardware emulation to work.

This raised my eyebrows: 

    SUPPORT: IBM Systems Engineering assistance is available to 1130 users at a basic rate of $220 per hour.

IBM was billing out an engineer for $220 per hour in 1971?
I should raise my rates.

yeah, $65/hour each for the letters I, B, and M, and $20 for the actual systems engineer.
