The Websphere documentation claims to support SQL server connectivity via
Merant Sequelink 5.1. I've installed and configured the Merant software, and
I can successfully connect to the database instance using the Merant
SequeLink java client. Here are the settings for the data source from the
websphere administrative web console:
Database Name: //magellan:19996;databaseName=SAMPLEDB
Default User: SAMPLEDB
Default Password: SAMPLEDB
The properties for the datasource are correct, port is 19996, and server
name is 'magellan'
I can't find any good documentation about how to configure a sql server
datasource. What can I be doing wrong?
Thanks,
Dave
Configuration:
WebSphere Application Server, Advanced Single Server Edition V4.0
Microsoft SQL Server V7.0 SP3
