Dear All

Does anyone have tried or know anything about upgrade WAS inside of WSAD
to higher version? Currently WAS AE or AEs are in 4.04. Is there any way to
upgrade it , too?

Thanks in advanced.

Yes, you can upgrade it.

There is a white paper where it is described the process at:

Hi Felix, when upgrading to WAS 4.04 AEs what should we do with this paragraph?

<<JSP Debugging Breakpoints
In order to debug JSP files using WAS 4.0.3, you must do the following before starting the product.
In the INSTALLDIR/eclipse/plugins/com.ibm.sed.editor directory (where INSTALLDIR is the directory
where the product is installed) , create a text file called jspdebug.properties. In the file put
"useWAS403=true" (without the quotes). If you previously had breakpoints set in JSP files, you must
remove and re-set the breakpoints in order for them to work on the WAS 4.0.3 server.>>

I have upgraded without touching anything and JSP breakpoint works fine. Do you know if I should change anything?

Thanks in advance,

    Chemi.

I have upgraded to WAS 4.0.4 and my JSP debugging does not work with
or without the jspdebug.properties file. What should I do?
Thanks,

Vickie.
