IBM HTTP Server with Perl Support on Windows

Hi all,
Our Webserver is running IBM HTTP Server on Windows NT

Could anybody help me in configuring IHS for supporting Perl script.

Hi Shine,

Which perl do you use?
I'am using active state's and I cann tell you - no better port for windows*.

Here is what you can use from IHS 1.3.6 onwards:
Download an install Perl V5.6.
After you have installed IHS start command line processor and do
"ppm install http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppmpackages/mod_perl.ppd"
You have to have IHS and perl installed and internet connection active on the
machine running this!!!

This will ask you for the installation path of your IHS and will put
ApacheModulePerl.dll in it's module directory.

Then you go to your config file and include following:

LoadModule perl_module modules/ApacheModulePerl.dll
--------------------------------------------------------------
AddHandler perl-script .pl
--------------------------------------------------------------
<Directory "D:/IHS/cgi-bin/"> --- put your scripts directory here
AllowOverride None
Options None
Action perl-script .pl
Options +ExecCGI
</Directory>
--------------------------------------------------------------
<Files *.pl>
SetHandler perl-script
PerlHandler Apache::Registry
PerlSendHeader On
</Files>
--------------------------------------------------------------

There are possibly better configuration methods with less redundancy, but this
works fine for me.
