Does anybody know if having Windows 2K Hotfixes on Win2K Advanced Server
Edition will cause any problems with the install and subsequent performance
of
WCS 5.101? I have five of them showing in the Add/Remove Programs dialog:

1) Windows 2000 Hotfix (Pre-SP1) [see Q253934]
2) Windows 2000 Hotfix (Pre-SP1) [see Q259728]
3) Windows 2000 Hotfix (Pre-SP2) [see Q280838]
4) Windows 2000 Hotfix (Pre-SP2) [see Q291845]
5) Windows 2000 Hotfix (Pre-SP3) [see Q293826]

The references are explanations of the fixes on microsoft's site. Someone
else installed the os and put these Hotfixes on without my knowledge. I
need to
know if I should take them off or leave them on.

From what I can find in the documentation no Service Packs are supported yet
for Windows 2000, is this correct?

Any help would be appreciated. Perhaps some IBM Support people could shed
some light on this?

Thanks,

Steve Long

I see two pre SP1 fixes on your list. You are supposed to have SP1 at
a minimum with NT 2000 to avoid some really bad known bugs.

The others I am unaware as to their effects on your site.
