VINCE Solutions a California based IT consulting company is looking for Sr WebSphere Commerce Architect with Management experience for it’s DIRECT CLIENT
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 + months (strong possibility for extension)
Experience: 12+ years
Rate: DOE
Background and Scope
The Senior WebSphere Commerce Developer will be responsible for managing our clients WebSphere Commerce instance including end user and third party provider activities pertaining to the design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of the application product and service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Resolve project related issues and operational issues
- Define service levels, service agreements, and manage IT operations
- Establish processes to identify, track, escalate, resolve, and report customer related issues
- Collaborate with customers to define standards and measures for quality and customer satisfaction requirements
- Coordinate system analysis and applications development activities
Requirements
- Four year college degree, preferably with MIS, CIS or other related IT course of study
- 10 – 12+ years of continually increasing responsibility and knowledge within IT.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of and experience with the following:
• WebSphere Commerce (WCS) V7
• WebSphere Application Server (WSAD) V7
• IBM’s Rational Development Tools (RAD)
• Advanced Java programming technologies used in web development
• Web Services , SOAP and RSS
• User Interface Design (HTML, CSS, Designer)
• WCS "Store" Development (JSPs, Command Business Logic, EJBs )
• WCS Catalog Architecture / Design
• WCS Subsystems
Catalog Subsystem

Order Management Subsystem
Payment Subsystem
WebSphere Commerce Accelerator
• WCS Management Center - Content Management
• WCS Extended Sites (e-sites) -Multi-store model
