Hi, i'm new in J2EE development. I need to use form-based login in an application and i don't know how.

I've created a j_security_check form for the login and i put the login page and the error page in web.xml, but when i try to login in the application i receive the following error "Error 404: SRVE0190E: File not found: /jsp/j_security_check".

I suppose that i have to configure something on websphere application server console but i don't know what.

On other side my users repository is in a oracle database but i don't know where i have to map the user tables to do the authentication.

Like you can see i'm very lost, could you help me.

Thanks in advance

PD: I'm using ibm jsf and websphere application server 6.1

Hi, take away the "/jsp/" from the j_security_check.

Thanks, but now appears the same error without "/jsp". It appears "File not found. /j_security_check "

I have selected the options "Enable administrative security", "Enable application security" and "Use Java 2 security to restrict application access to local resources" in "Secure administration, applications, and infrastructure"' tab on websphere application server console. I don't know if this is configured correctly. Could you tell me if this is correctly or how is the way to configure the security.

Sorry but i'm very lost as i told you. Thanks

after setting that, did you restart the app server?
