Hi Guys

I want to be able to pass the Username & Password in the URL when I need to login to the administration console.

eg. https://localhost:9043/ibm/console/logon.jsp?username:wasadmin-password:pwd< /a>

So in this example

Username is wasadmin

Password is pwd

I have tried a number of permutations of the URL with no joy.

Does anyone know how to do this ?

TIA

NG

The correct form of a URL with the username and password in it looks like
https://user:password@host:port/blahblahblah

Hi Ken

Thanks for your prompt reply, I have tried this before I posted & it does not work.

eg. <strike>https://username:password@hostname:9043/ibm/console/logon.jsp</strike>

Have you been able to get this to work ?

or

Is this why it has a line through your solution ?
The URL spec above applies to Basic Auth, I believe, and I'm not sure it
works with the admin console.
