Class not found: COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.DB2XADataSource

Hello,

my WAS throws the following error message during start up:


14.12.00 12:25 : WARNING [ENTWICKLUNG1/__adminServer]: ADMS0062W:
Server-Initialisierung fehlgeschlagen: "Default Server"
com.ibm.ejs.sm.exception.ActiveObjectInitException

----- Begin backtrace for subexception[0]

java.sql.SQLException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.DB2XADataSource


On my system this class is located in the package
COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.stdexf.udb, wich is part of
SQLLIB/java/db2java.zip.

I´m using WAS 3.5 FP 2 and DB2 6.1 FP4 (Personal Edition)

I think that the db2java.zip should be placed in the %WAS%\lib\
directory ? It is on my system, anyway.

there are two db2java.zip there, one is from %WAS_HOME%\lib, another is from
sqllib\java\db2java.zip, always trust the one from DB2, I just rename the
one under %WAS_HOME%\lib to db2java.zip.off
