Hi,

I get a NoTargetForURIException when I try to invoke a servlet by using HTML
forms. The URI I am using is "/servlet/ServletName". I verified the servlet
name and its path. What else could I did wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks...

Kenny,

1. If you have added the servlet chect if it has a Web path as
{default_host}/{app_name}/servlet/{servlet_name) or

2. if you want to invoke the servlet by class name see if the Auto Invoker
servlets is added to the webapplication.

I'm having a similar problem but its during a dispatch.forward to a html
page. The servlet executes but during a forward it throws this error. It
runs fine in the VA test environment but fails on both Websphere 3.53 and
4.0. Any Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Scott,
If you're going to do a forward to html, then you'll need the file-serving
servlet enabled.

Thanks Ken. Thats exactly what it was. For others, make sure the
SimpleFileServlet is mapped correctly in the servlet mapping XML
