Sr Java Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience in designing and
building scalable database driven enterprise/web applications using
Java/J2EE.
Experience with developing UI on Portal servers (JBoss Portal) and
building web services using Java/Spring/Hibernate is required.
Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
Experience with intercommunication portlets
Experience in:
Java application development on Linux/Unix platform
Object oriented design & programming
Strong experience in building Portal applications using both open
source portals like JBOSS portal and enterprise portals (like
WebSphere portal)
JSP/HTML/CSS/Javascript/Ajax/XML
JBOSS, Websphere or any application server
Spring, Spring Batch, Hibernate ORM frameworks
Database Design using Oracle or any RDBMS / SQL
Web services development/JAXB/WSDL
Subversion, Ant, Maven
Testing with JUnit
Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
Familiarity with Full software development life cycle
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Masters degree in related field desirable.
Knowledge on Spring Batch framework is a plus.
