Need Help- text selection in widget problem

hi,
I'm using windowbuilder pro and va smalltalk 7.5.2, i have EwTableList
and want to select specific text in the columns.
Eg: like when we do search, the text appears selected that is found, I
want to make this work in this table as my records are displayed in
this table.
Please help, I'm unable to find hw can i select text in a particular
cell.
