On all but one of our VG 3.1 FP1 and FP2 NT machines the prpout.log
file is in the VAST directory. On one machine (FP1), VG insists on
placing a file called "Program" in the C drive root directory. It will
erase a prpout.log file should we manually create one before doing a
generate. The presence of this filing is freaking out several other
apps (most noticibly PC Anywhere) so we need to make VG stop doing
this. Any ideas ?

We found that if you go to the properties window for VA/Gen Developer and
be sure that a ~ is used in the Start in: field, you will run correctly.

For example, if you installed in C:\Program Files\VAST, the start in
field should
be C:\PROGRA~1\VAST
