I have installed in a Windows NT WorkStation version 4.00, with the Service
pack 6; VisualAge C++ for Windows version 3.5, with the following levels of
upgrade for FixPaks:
WTC357 - Compiler (C/C++ compilers, ILINK, ILIB)
WTO356 - Open Class Libraries
WTW354 - WorkFrame
WTV354 - visual Tools (Visual Builder and DataAccess Builder)
WTU354 - Utilities (Debugger, Browser, Performance Analyzer)
WTT354 - Toolkits (Win32 SDK and Win32s)
I have an application that use a DLL of resources that I have created and
contains bitmaps and icons; and I have the following problems:
- When the application is executed in Windows 95/98, the icons don't see
each other neither in the windows menu, neither in the icons controls,
neither in the containers, neither in the tasks windows; this thing didn't
happen before updating the VisualAge version with the FixPaks. Why?. On the
other hand, if it is able to show the icons that are in the bookstores DLL's
of resources of the system or of the product.
This problem doesn't happen if the application is executed in a Windows
NT/2000.
- I have installed the product with the upgrade described at the beginning,
in a Windows 95, and besides the problem described previously, then the
problem arises in the design phase, in VisualBuilder, when you instance a
IIconControl, this it is unable to show the requested resource of my DLL.
Why?.
If somebody can give light to my darkness, I would be very grateful.
Thank you and best regards
