What's with VACPP 4.0 fixpack 2 for OS/2

Hi,

there are rumors that VACPP 4.0 fixpack 2 for OS/2 will not be released.
Early in this year at the time when FP#2 for Windows NT was released a
statement was: "Fixpack 2 for OS/2 will follow later in this year".
So what's going on ?
The only reason not to bring back VACPP 4.0 was this statement.

That's right, there is not going to be a fixpak 2.

I heard this directly from IBM Toronto when they answered a bug report I
submitted. The answer was, "...Fortunately, there is a workaround..." (it
didn't work !$%*#) "....I hope you agree that the workaround is
acceptable. May I close this call?..."

Ha Ha Ha !!! Ho Ho Ho !! Hee Heee Heee!! Oh, I'm in pain from laughter !!!

I think the suggestion someone made to move everything to Linux is the best
solution for us all. IBM can stick it where the sun don't shine as far as
I'm concerned.
