Hi All,
I am a new PCOMM 4.3 for NT user running 3270 coax MVS console emulation
sessions and can't figure out what the key is used to retrieve or dup
the last command entered. The DUP key just puts an * in the command
field. SHIFT+PF12 works for TSO but not in 3270 coax mode. Any help
would be appreciated.
Thanks,

The key to retrieve the last command issued it not a PCOM function. The
application that you are in session with decides that. For instance under
most ISPF functions (a TSO based application) PF12 and PF24 normally will
retrieve the last command. Under just plain TSO, there is no key to
retrieve the last command. PCOM F12 is PF12 by default and Shift-F12 is
PF24 by default.

You state that you are doing MVS console emulation. Do you mean 3270, or do
you really mean you are emulating an MVS system console? Normally PA1
retrieves the last console command issued. I do believe though that this is
customizable by the MVS sysprogs that setup your MVS system. PA1 by default
under PCOM is ALT-Insert.

The DUP key always puts a * in, even on a real 3270 terminal. I have no
idea what the DUP is used for, never have been able to figure it out. I
have been in the mainframe sysprog environment for 15+ years and most of it
has been SNA networking.
