Hi,

Im facing a problem during a migration with two attributes (entrustRoamFileEncInfo & entrustRoamingProfile), on both versions of IBM Directory server (V5.2 & V6.4) the syntax, and matching rules are the same, but on the ldap search the V5.2 return the attribute as standard any the V6.4 returns it as binary, there's any way we can make the V6.4 return this attribute as standard attribute?

Are you using the same ldapsearch client - in that case I would definitely doubt that you receive different results if the schema is the same....

Have you tried to specify ldif format as the output (-L) ?

Is this the same problem you are discussing about copying attributes across from 5.2 to 6.4 with TDI in the TDI google group ?

Hi, is related but is not the source of this problem I solve this using:

ibm-slapdSetenv: IBMLDAP_ATTR_INCLUDE_BINARY=FALSE
