<div>I've tried a lot of combination with the Ctrl, Alt, Shift and Print Screen keys, but no luck, nothing happens in response. One option: Shift+Ctrl+Print Screen lets me do a selection using a cross hair to size out the screen capture but I don't know where this gets saved. I'm not being given the choice and it's not in Desktop or Pictures.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>download print screen pc</div><div></div><div>Download Zip: https://t.co/udys2p7AZ0 </div><div></div><div></div><div>I'm not sure if Ubuntu 12 has a similar settings tools. Pull up System Settings and look at your Keyboard settings. Shortcuts contain many keys that your system may be expect you to use. Make sure you don't have a conflict with another keyboard shortcut and check that your screenshot shortcut is what you are expecting to use. I've disabled the general ALT key for dashboard that might interfere.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I don't have a fix for this issue, but I could suggest another option: use Shutter .It's a pretty advanced screenshot application that lets you do a lot more than just take screenshots - including choosing where to save them.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The reason this happens is that on many (most?) keyboards the PrtScn key is also the SysRq key, and Alt+SysRq is the "Magic SysRq Key" (see this answer: ). You can either disable the Magic SysRq key, or change the screenshot window shortcut to something else.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have a Logitech Ergo K860 and mostly its an amazing keyboard. It has but one fault. I keep on hitting the Print Screen button, because its above the backspace. This automatically takes a screenshot.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I was also trying to find a solution to this issue but found nothing on the net. Then used Karabiner Viewer to identify what is it triggering. Found it was Cmd-Shift-3. Disabled that shortcut from " Settings>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts" as I do not use that shortcut for taking my screenshots. I prefer Cmd-Shift-4. And Voila. PrintScreen on K860 is a useless key now</div><div></div><div></div><div>Print Screen in War Thunder not working anymore. Anybody having trouble with their print screen for taking screen shots in game. Mine works as long as I am not trying to take a screen shot in War Thunder. Perhaps it's a bug in War Thunder that I don't know about .</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>I don't know how to do that. Its too complicated to figure out. All I know it is still mapped to "print Screen" and it doesn't work. ...And it won't let me change it either. If I try to use it, it takes a screen shot of whatever happens to be on my browser instead.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I've just tried to grab a screenshot of the WT "To Battle" page (using both methods)& got he same result (a screen shot of this forum page, not the WT game which was the current program showing on the monitor)</div><div></div><div></div><div>Hmmm......well that seems to have solved the problem. All those screen shots that I thought were not being taken i found in the WT folder you are talking about. In the past when I took a screen shot it was automatically saved to my clipboard and I would put them into Paint and then save them. I never knew they were going into that folder as well as my clipboard. Apparently, they are going into this folder only now. Not into both places. I have no idea what would have caused the change but I can deal with it. Perhaps there was a change with the last game update.</div><div></div><div>So, much thanks for your time and generous help. My problem is solved good enough. I dont know about the other guys.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Problem solved, however I must say, I much prefer the old method. When I pasted the print screen image to MS Word & then saved as a web page, I had available to me a high quality ".tif" image and a low quality ".jpg" image to choose to work from. With the new method, being placed directly in to the WT screenshot folder, only a low quality ".jpg" image is being saved.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Few days ago I bought this new HP Spectre x360 laptop. With my old laptop (HP Envy x360) I took screenchots with pressing 'windows' + 'prt scr' and those screenshots was automatically saved to Pictures-folder.</div><div></div><div>Now with Spectre I tried this same way, and it won't work. There is no settings for this action. I mean in the Settings there are nothing like "Where do you want to save print screen -pictures" or so.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I think I have read something about OneDrive and that the screenshots would automatically saves to OneDrive, but I have never used OneDrive and I deleted the whole program (and few other program...) on the first day when I bought this computer.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have noticed that for some reason my computer settings looks different compared to others, even if they have exact same updates and version of Windows 10. Who knows why. For example I read about that adaptive screen brightness can be disabled from settings, but there is no settings for that in my computer, but luckily I could disable that using command prompt.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Vontu has a limited way of helping you.</div><div></div><div>vontu does not "kill" the Print screen function. it relay on SEP to do that by modifing the registry.</div><div></div><div>if the application control policy does not deny access to snapshot programs like snagit and such vontu can help you.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>the concept of vontu in general is to help educate the company employees. there is something we must understand. if someone wants to take your data and he has access to the files, nothing will stop him.</div><div></div><div>as Cycletech said he could take a picture with a cameraphone.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>3) Print Screen Block_RegistryEdit.dat is Symantec Endpoint Protection Application & Device Control policy which will not allow the user to make any modification to Print screen values in the registry key.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Does this issue extend to just being able to Print in general? When I press Ctrl+P from my Player Search screen I don't even get the pop-up asking about where I want to print to. Print Screen is also greyed out in the menu.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I tried to print screen (hold function and press Home) but instead I got a whistle.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>I cant figure out which it is to disable it.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>This is different than my steam screenshot button. I have two monitors, so I wanted a picture of both in the same shot, but no, I whistled in Ark instead.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Here's my keybinds:</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>You are not alone, broddah; i don't have a FN key on my KBD, and when i printscreen(to share some pics whithout needing to use steam) i whistle too. dunno what whistle is, didnt see a effect on my dinos after that.</div><div></div><div> df19127ead</div>
