I am new to IBM LDAP directories. Can someone please tell me the difference
between the SecureWay directory product and the IBM Directory Server
offering? I would very much appreciate it.

Regards,
Mike

Michael,

In April, 2002, IBM changed the name of our LDAP product from SecureWay to IBM
Directory Server. If you look in the library section of the Directory website,
you can see a PDF file of the Directory Server V5.1 which gives you an overview
of some of the latest enhancements in Directory Server.

I have downloaded SecureWay directory Version 3.2.2, is it old version? Also
there is avalible IBM Directory Server V5.1 as I understud this is new
version of SecureWay?
I want to make Windows2000 active directory hold data in IBM's directory, I
have red REDBOOK("Using LDAP for Directory Integration A Look at IBM
SecureWay Directory, Active Directory and Domino") they are talking about
Secureway directory, can I use IBM Directory Server insted of SecureWay?
And is there any redbook or ather documentation about IBM Directory Server
integration to active directory?
