<div>Learn how to change the sound that plays when you get a call, text, email, or other notification on your iPhone or iPad. Choose from a variety of built-in sounds or buy ringtones from the iTunes Store.</div><div></div><div></div><div>So I recently upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 12 mini. On my old phone, I had many custom ringtones I put on the phone with iTunes (a much older version) and many contacts selected to those ringtones. All that came over to my new iPhone. But now, when I just put a new contact and wanted to select one of the ringtones I put on the phone, I do not see them. Just the standard ones that come on the iPhone. How can I select one of MY RINGTONES for a given contact?</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>hindi old ringtones download</div><div></div><div>DOWNLOAD:
https://t.co/9oDXOAdfF0 </div><div></div><div></div><div>Well first off, somehow Lawrence above was wrong. When I switched from my iPhone 6 to my iPhone 12 Mini in January, all my custom ringtones came over and they all worked, using the iCloud Backup then Restore to new iPhone process. For some weird reason, back on Mar 7, all the ringtones disappeared from my new iPhone. To fix this, and some other issues, I wound up deleting ALL Music and also Home Videos/Downloaded Videos from my new iPhone (I had a lot of dupes and manually cleaning them up got messy). Then I connected to iTunes and synced and got all those corrected. My phone now had all my MUSIC and my Home Videos/Downloaded Videos, without duplicates. Then I had to fix playlists (I think just recreate one that was missing, others were there). Next, I still could not get this newer version of iTunes to play nice with ringtones, (I initially loaded them onto my old iPhone using a much older version of iTunes (angers the heck out of me that Apple took away functionality in later versions of iTunes). So I wound up installing Copy Trans Manager on my PC and this made adding the ringtones simple, I just clicked and dragged them from my iTunes Folders into this and they went onto my phone. I also found I can use it now to simply add new music or even videos (like mp4 movies to have for a flight/trip).</div><div></div><div></div><div>Why did people slowly stop using songs as ringtones? Was it just a fun short-lived trend from when mobile technology was new, which we scrapped when the technology started being taken more seriously?</div><div></div><div></div><div>Ok, so I ran into some problems while trying to find a good answer for this problem. How in the world do you install ringtones on freepbx with a Cisco 7960. After digging around for a few hours and reading several dead ends, I found this:</div><div></div><div></div><div>If I remember correctly, for Holloween they did custome auto responses but not the ringtones.</div><div></div><div>Any case, go to the eufy community and check with support
eufylife.com to see if they have any plans for Christmas.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I just got an update for the galaxy watch 5 pro and my custom ringtones are gone even though the files are still on the watch. Tried readding them but they don't even show up to be selected anymore. Anyone else have this issue and able to fix it? The standard tones don't work for me.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Apple's instruction is to drag and drop tones from Finder to the "Tones" section of my device in iTunes. This method works to add tones to my phone. However, I can't discern how to remove ringtones from my phone.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The answer is that it's impossible to remove them from your phone because any ringtones that existed on your phone after you updated to iTunes 12.7 appear to be inaccessible. They do not show up in iTunes in the "Tones" folder, so they can not be deleted. Even using the methods described above, turning on "manually manage music", restarting, syncing, etc.</div><div></div><div></div><div>As of (and perhaps before, I'm not sure) macOS Catalina and iOS 13, there is no longer any iTunes app, so I know this answer does not exactly apply to the OP's question, but for those like me who found this question looking for an answer on how to delete custom ringtones from an iPhone under iOS 13:</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>What I end up doing EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to add this ringtone file (I wipe my device occasionally) is finding the "Media Storage" app on my device and clearing its memory. At this point the phone thinks there are no ringtones, but then once I reboot, all the old ringtones are there along with my ringtone which has been in the same location the ENTIRE TIME.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have to be missing something simple because all the internet forums I am reading are all straightforward "just put the file in the ringtones folder and it works like magic" which is very frustrating.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Lastly if the above are no go or already sorted correctly, goto settings-->apps and locate media storage. Force stop it, clear it's cache and then reboot. Note if you want to clear all it's data, pull your ringtones to a different directory first JIC then after your clear all data , move them back to your ringtones directory. If you are rooted just copy the file over to the correct place in /system/media/ and set perms correctly [644] and reboot.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have a setting on my phone. settings - audio profiles - individual profile setting - custom ringtone. here I can add any MP3 to the list of phone recognised ringtones. if you have such, then you're golden.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I came across the same problem. My new Moto E (2nd gen) would not play the ringtones I copied from my computer to my phone. I solved this problem by ignoring the message that I get from my Moto E about converting the files over to WMA files (I left them as .m4A files - music files) when I copy them from my computer to my phone and copied them back into the ringtones folder as well as the music folder. I opened Google Music player and played them and then assigned them to my alarms. What a pain in the neck! It is fixed now.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I put 100 new ringtones onto my SD card but they wouldn't show up when I tried to select them. So, I played a single MP3 ringtone in my music player, then all 100 new ringtones suddenly appeared in my 'select phone ringtone' in settings/sound</div><div></div><div></div><div>By uninstalling apps I discovered one I had downloaded, ES File Explorer Manager, that added an extra step of using it (shows file tree) or Media Storage (correct choice to directly access the default ringtones) from the Sound, Ringtones menus. Now, the ring tones are shown when Media Storage is used. These were missing before. This should resolve my problem.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I have used that file explorer app for years and it hasn't hidden the default ringtones from selecting them. You do have to reset the default way to select the ringtones back to the media storage option and to remove the dialog asking which way to complete the action.</div><div></div><div></div><div>I Had same problem with my Droid Ultra Maxx & ES File Explorer. Ringtones present in Safe Mode, but not in normal mode. I Did not need to uninstall The app. Just cleared its data and cache. Then when I went to sound then phone ringtone, I was again given choice of opening with ES File Explorer or Media Explorer. Picked the second and all the default ringtones back on the list.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Hi,</div><div></div><div>Having read that custom ringtones were supposed to be available again in the 17.1 update, I was very disappointed to find that mine don't appear to be there even though in files it says they are on my iPhone. I've tried importing them back in to music on my Mac then re-sinking the phone to the Mac but no joy. So I tried air dropping the files over and all this did was to make another copy of the files. I also did a soft re-boot of the phone in case the problem was a caching issue but again nothing.</div><div></div><div>Does anyone have any more ideas I could try?</div><div></div><div></div><div>I found a ghetto work-around for group ringtones on the iPhone. It's sort of annoying but once you get it set up, its easy to then change a group ringtone. You have to set the ringtone for each one of your contacts, but only ONCE, and then changing the ringtone for a group is easy. You won't want to do this unless you enjoy changing your ringtones every so often.</div><div></div><div></div><div>1. Create a custom ringtone for each group you want to set, and give it a default name that you recognize (ie "AA_Family" "AA_Friends" "AA_Work" etc). I put the "AA_" in front so it shows at the top of my ringtones list on the iPhone.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The iPhone knows that song you are playing regardless of the filename of your ringtone. As long as you don't have conflicts, you'll be alright. Hopefully this isn't too confusing. I tried to be clear without typing out a novel. Again, this is really only helpful if you enjoy changing out your group ringtones often like I do.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Oh, I almost forgot: I found the "normalize" feature in step 3 to make my new ringtone a lot louder than the default ringtones already on my phone, so unlike what I initially thought, this may be not be suitable for using every time.</div><div></div><div></div><div>If you long to hear the comforting hum of Cloudbank's OVC Terminals each time your mother sends you a text asking if you're all right, or for some other reason, then this collection of Transistor ringtones is for you! This download contains 16 different audio effects from Transistor, formatted to work with popular iOS and Android devices (or any device that accepts .MP3 format sound files). We're pleased to offer the Transistor Ringtones at no charge.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Ringtones can be customized using two different methods: (1) via the PBX so that users have additional ringtones in the Ring Melody dropdown from certain accounts, or (2) via the web interface of the phone, wherein a single identity can be configured to use a specific ringtone. This documentation covers only (1); for using the phone features please use the phones documentation.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Agent groups and hunt groups can be configured with distinct ringtones so that users answering calls on these groups will be able to determine which type of call is coming in.
