Hi,

We have DB2 Server for VM/ESA v. 5.1 and several VSE/ESA v 2.2 under VM/ESA
machines.

We want to install OS/390 under VM/ESA.

Does any way exist to connect OS/390 users applications and CICS to our DB2
Server for VM/ESA

Do this connection and compatibility be possible modifyed VM User Direct
parameters.

Hi,

You will need to use a DRDA stream to make this work.
You should contact the OS/390 team to find out what
software you will need to connect to DB2 Server for VM. You
may also want to ask them about installing OS/390 on VM.
You can post this question on the newsgroup
ibm.software.db2.mvs. Also, you can go to the web site
http://www-4.ibm.com/software/data/db2/os390/ or call the
appropriate IBM call center by looking at
http://ps.software.ibm.com/pbin-usa-ps/getobj.pl?/pdocs-usa/phonenos.html

Thanks!
