I was using a 3 part name to access a table from SPUFI. It works with a normal select.

Like – select * from ENCC.DBTEST.TABLE1; ( ENCC is the location name )
But if I try to use it for Join operations ( I mean joining 2 tables from different subsystems using 3 part names) we are running into an error

DSNT408I SQLCODE = -512, ERROR: STATEMENT REFERENCE TO REMOTE OBJECT IS
INVALID
DSNT418I SQLSTATE = 56023 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE
DSNT415I SQLERRP = DSNXOTDA SQL PROCEDURE DETECTING ERROR
DSNT416I SQLERRD = -300 0 0 -1 0 0 SQL DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION
DSNT416I SQLERRD = X'FFFFFED4' X'00000000' X'00000000' X'FFFFFFFF'
X'00000000' X'00000000' SQL DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION

Does any body know what needs to be done. I even created an alias at both the locations. Appreciate the help.

It can't be done
db2 for zOS does not support running a query against more than a single subsystem
