The 600X will accept any 12.5MM drive up to 48GB capacity. I've got a
32GB in mine now, soon to be upgraded.

It's a holder for the HD. You can re-use the caddy from your old
drive, but it's better to have a new one in order to use both your old
and new HDs or to put your old HD is an Ultraslimbay second HD
