ONSITE POSITION

Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer.
Experience Level: Experienced 

Bill rate: $50 on C2C 

Visa: GC, US Citizen, H1b, (Need Visa Copy)

Duration: 12+ Month

Location: Downtown Milwaukee 

Client: Rockwell Automation in Downtown Milwaukee 

Open to all candidates - however local candidates to the Midwest will be interviewed quicker

 

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the development of unit test, ‘smoke’ test and some functional tests for embedded real time products. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing “testware” with the ‘C’ programming language. 

Minimum Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent knowledge in the application of software engineering principles, theories, concepts, and techniques 
Key Qualifications 
• Extensive experience in development of unit test, preferably automated unit tests, from requirements through execution and delivery. 
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated proficiency using in the ‘C’ programming language in development of test software. 
• Good teaming skills. 

Desired Qualifications:
• Previous experience with scripting languages like Python. 
• Previous experience with unit testing frameworks like CppUnit 
• Use of tools such as Clearcase, Clearquest, Coverity
