Average Cost in Inventory

Hi,
I was wondering if there is someone here how could help me with this
problem:
I need to preserve the average cost for the internal POs.
My ideea was to bring the avgcost at the receiveing time, but i can't
seem to create a class to do that.
Can someone tell me how could i modify the FLDMatRecTransItemNum.class
to get the avgcost in inventory to unitcost in matrectrans when the
item is selected?

P.S.: I am using Maximo 5.2 with Oracle 9i.
