IBM Mini-retreat details

[Jessica Shim]

Hello everyone! Just wanted to give everyone details on our mini-retreat this weekend. Please cover this weekend in prayer. As much as we want to have fun and rest, it means nothing if the Holy Spirit doesn’t show up! So let’s pray that there will be supernatural bonding, healing and deliverance during our short retreat!

Things to Bring:

Sleeping Bag (if you have one, may be smart to bring. There are supposed to be enough beds... but not sure if enough covers to be comfortable.

Sneakers

Warm clothes because we'll be sitting outside by the campfire

Bible

Snacks to share (if you have special preferences for yummies.. hhee)

We will do our very best to drop people off in the city on the way back! Our plan is to definitely get back in the city by latest, 6pm. Thanks!

PRAISE:

Also, we would like to handle praise in a very special way. Back in the day, when Simon and I were in KCCC, we would share life stories with our small groups and also pick a life song. All that is, is a praise song that especially means something to you or resonates with the themes God has given you throughout your life. SO! We’d love to make praise a praise/sharing time where everyone comes with their life song and we can sing them together for praise times.

What I need from you… can you please e-mail Simon the name of the song and possibly a youtube link to it? This helps us be prepared with lyrics and chords for the songs. Thanks! Please send by tonight!

OK! That’s it for now. Please e-mail me if you have any further questions! Super excited!

<3 Jess

Also! If you haven't paid yet, please do so. The cost each is once again $60. If it's easier for you to do it electronically, please sign up for VENMO which is a free app that will let you send me money. I will then send George a list of people who have paid in this way. Thanks everyone! I have included a referral link below:

If you'd like to pay the old-fashioned way (handing me cash or check), please bring the money with you tomorrow.  I have gotten cash from the following people.  If your records are different, please let me know!

Julie K. has an interview this evening.  Let's pray for her!  Lord, we pray Julie rocks this interview and the interviewer loves her and she gets this job.  In Jesus' name we pray, amen!

See you all soon!  Yes, let's make a meme for Simon.  It's not very fair that I have my own Dolphin Man one and Simon doesn't!

Ditto!  Jess thanks so much for planning, no easy thang organizing for all of us.  Especially the food!  It's my first time eating boodae jjigae and it was really good!!   I always thought it was something really funky cause of the name  - like gall bladder, intestines..  And big up to Hyunji for driving us all the way back to Brooklyn. George-please please let us know if we went over budget so we can bring money on Wedn.

I thought Pastor Danny's sermon yesterday was really good.  There were several points but one was the importance of taking every evil, unpure thought captive before it lodges in our heart.  This was the SAME MESSAGE  Pastor Cymbala preached at BK tab in the am service.  Called "Head Shots"....take a listen if you have a chance I was blessed, convicted and charged by both sermons.
