tlog processing

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the help with my last post; I have another problem
associated with this account. Anyone know of a tool that will process
sales data out of a tlog. I ran a tlog report to a file which has the
information I need at transaction level. I am hoping someone has a
way to accumulate the sales info easily. This account had a tlog with
4 days worth of data.

Hi Adam,

I'm not sure exactly what type of processing you need to do, but we
have a tlog parser which can extract and convert tlog data into any
format needed. It can also put the tlog data into a database as well.
We've also used it to "fix" transactions and "scrub" transactions, a
process where the transaction is modified and written back out in raw
tlog format.

I would suspect if all you needed was sales info, we could setup the
parser to generate a CSV file you could import into EXCEL for
reporting.

If your problem is that you have 4 days in one and want each days
totals. We could just split the tlog up into the 4 days and then you
can use a copy of the store to process the tlogs individualy.
