Does anyone with BRdata/IBM ever have issues sending batches to the controller, and having the processing get hosed up.  At this point, I am deleting the batches and batch header in the controller, restarting the scheduler and having the customer resend the batches from BRdata.  It normally goes thru the second time.  This issues happens at one store about every 2 months…

I have changed from file copy to ftp for file transfer from BRdata.  Changed all things hardware on both systems, updated BRdata, and ACE….still same issues keeps popping up every other month.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Aaron

We have had issues with not all changes updating in IBM.  We use FTP and added a 5 minute pause between batches which helped from items being dropped.

Please excuse any typos

Aaron,

We were using PM4data to do data transfers between our servers and the controllers. It worked (most of the time) until we got about 65 stores converted. At that point it killed our servers and store controllers.

We punted and went back to using sftp on a 1 minute cycle to send item maintenance data down to the controllers. It works quite well. I have some 250 stores spread from Egypt, Turkey, Germany, all across the states, Japan and Korea. Don't have a problem sending or receiving data to/from the controllers.
