If you end up with all background pages filled with *active* tasks
then IBM will not be able to start new processes like ACEADDML ->no
batch read at all. So this is prob. not this problem
The fact that you have an errorlog with "00000000000" for upc smells
of invalid charactors in the batch in the UPC or Description field
One thing to try would be to take the EAMMAINT.DAT file from the store
and try to read it in your system.
If the batch reads in the test system, then there is either a setting
issue btwn BRD and ACE or something else evil
Also, make sure the following files DO NOT exist on CC
EAMMAINT.DAT
EAMMAINT.BAK
EAMMINPR.DAT *
* if this one exists, ACEADDML reads it 1st and if it is bad, every
time you start ACEADDML for a new batch this one could be read instead
