教育・研究領域の分野: 情報セキュリティ、人工知胜。ただし、情報理工孊
分野党般の䞭で情報セキュリティ・人工知胜以倖の分野であっおも実瞟等が
優れおいる堎合は考慮したす。

孊内所属: 業務を行っおいただく䞻な孊郚、倧孊院は理工孊術院です。
所属䞻本属は、本孊の取扱い䞊、基幹理工孊郚情報理工孊科ずなりたす。

業務内容:
(1) 募集領域に関する科目などの授業担圓、その他教育に関する業務
情報理工孊科における講矩、実隓科目、および情報理工・情報通信専攻に
おける講矩科目等を耇数担圓しおいただきたす。これらは日本語による堎合
も英語による堎合もありたす。
(2) 独立した研究宀ずしおの個別研究掻動、組織的研究掻動ぞの参画、
その他研究に関する業務
(3) 教授䌚や各皮委員䌚ぞの参画、入詊業務、その他倧孊運営に関する業務
(4) 瀟䌚掻動ぞの参画、その他瀟䌚貢献に関する業務
(5) その他本孊芏皋に定めた業務

就業堎所: 早皲田倧孊西早皲田キャンパス 東京郜新宿区倧久保3-4-1

勀務時間: 所定劎働日および勀務時間始業・終業時刻、䌑憩時間等は、
本孊芏皋によりたす。なお、専門業務型裁量劎働制みなし劎働1日8時間を適甚
し、研究業務の性質䞊、業務遂行の手段および時間配分の決定等に぀いおは
本人の裁量に委ねるものずしたす。

䌑日: 土曜日、日曜日、幎末幎始、囜民の祝日、および、囜民の祝日の䞀郚に
授業を実斜するこずにより蚭ける臚時の䌑業日。ただし、倧孊があらかじめ
授業を実斜するず定めた日を陀きたす。

䌑暇: 劎働基準法等法什に定められた䌑暇および、倧孊が特に定めた日ず
したす。

絊䞎: 本孊芏皋によりたす。

諞手圓・通勀費: 本孊芏皋によりたす。

退職金: 本孊芏皋によりたす。

瀟䌚保険・劎働保険: 厚生幎金、健康保険、劎灜保険、雇甚保険にご加入

(2) 日本語に加えお英語による孊郚・倧孊院での講矩および研究指導が

Position: Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor
* Waseda University will decide employment position based on your educational / research experience and age, and inform you before the final interview.
* According to the human resources rules of the university, applicants at the age of 61 or above (at the time of the arrival at the post) can only be considered for the position of Professor (Tokunin Kyouju).
* It is not possible to continue being employed after reaching 70 years of age.

Education/Research Area: Information security or artificial intelligence. Other areas in computer science and engineering in general would be considered if applicants have excellent achievements.

Affiliated Faculty: Undergraduate/Graduate School of Science and Engineering.
Affiliationmain affiliationwill be the Faculty of Science and Engineering, School of Fundamental Science and Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Waseda University.

Starting Date: April 1st, 2023, or earliest after that

Duties:
1) Lecture courses on recruitment area and other education related works: The applicant will be responsible for lecture courses and laboratory works in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering as well as others, including lecture courses in the Department of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, Graduate School of Fundamental Science and Engineering. These may be in Japanese or English.
2) Participate in individual research activities by leading an independent laboratory, group research activities, and other related research activities
3) Participate in faculty committees, other committees, entrance exams, and other university-related works
4) Participate in social activities and other activities related to contribution to society
5) Other works (duties) determined by the university regulations

Job Location: Nishi-Waseda campus, 3-4-1 Okubo, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo

Working Hours: Prescribed working days and hours (time at which work begins/ends, rest periods) are determined by the university regulations. A discretionary work system for professional work applies, and working hours will be deemed as 8 hours per day.

Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, year-end and new year holidays, national holidays, and temporary holidays established by holding classes on some of the national holidays, except the days the university determined to have classes.

Leave of Absence: The Holidays determined based on the labor standards act and the university regulations.

Salary: Determined based on the university regulations.

Additional Payment, Transportation Fee: Determined based on the university regulations.

Retirement Benefits: Determined based on the university regulations.

Social insurance, Labor insurance: Employer's pension, health insurance, industrial accident compensation insurance, and labor insurance are available. The faculty member has to subscribe to these pensions and insurances.

Required Qualifications: The applicant must satisfy all the following qualifications.
1) The applicant must have a Ph.D.
2) The applicant must have sufficient English skills for teaching and research supervision in undergraduate and graduate school. Experience studying or working abroad is desirable. The applicant whose native language is not Japanese must have at least N1 level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
3) The applicant must have high motivation for participation in faculty committees, other committees, entrance exams, and other university-related works.
