Hello all,
We’ve spent the past week making some upgrades to the beta IBISEYE site
(located at: http://ibis.htcreative.com/onelegged/
).
We’ve added more charting information to our “Synopsis” tab.
To see these, you may have to clear out your browser’s cache (hold down
shift and click refresh in your browser). The additions include three new
charts in addition to the Risk charts (you will need the Flash Player 9
installed to see these). The charts are for Wind Speed, Pressure, and Wind
Fields all over the life of the storm. The bars on the chart are color-coded
based on the storm’s category, and should provide a good picture of how
the storm formed. It’s pretty interesting to look at historical storms
and see how they built in strength and then died out.
We’ve also added a help section (finally). We’ve tried to go
through the site piece by piece and write up what kind of functionality there
is and how it works. Clicking on ‘help’ will show you a list of
topics on the left and the main document on the right.
We are, as usual, interested in any feedback you may have, especially with the
help section. If you feel that something important is missing or that some of the
help isn’t clear, let us know and we’ll try to remedy it. Same goes
for the charts – any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

With that said .... this is one awesome website! It has replaced
Google as my home page in FireFox and earned a top position in IE's
home page (iGoogle) that I use. This site has great potential. Once
the word (or iGoogle gadget) gets out .... hold on! That is how I
found the site.
