Best Corporate Gold Medal

Dear Class,

Best Corporate Gold Medal is to be awarded to a student in UPES. We have planned to nominate a student from IB Pass outs. The criteria and eligibility are given here. Kindly forward to all the students, whomever is interested and eligible as per the criteria given and they can send with their required details (as per short listing criteria) to me on or before 20^th of May, 2011.

Criteria

• Quality performance in all areas of the course academic and extra curricular
• Diligence and positive attitude
• Relationship to peers, faculty and staff members
• Exemplary conduct, presentation and professionalism

Eligibility

• Students must have been enrolled in a full time at the time of being considered for and if selected, at the time of receipt of the Award.
• Student must have successfully completed the academic requirements of each of the semester.
• No student shall be precluded because of having been selected as a recipient of any other academic medal, prize or award.  

Shortlisting criteria

• The average CGPA for all the four semesters must be greater than 3.67 out of 4.0.
• The student must have held at least one nominated or elected leadership position.
• The student must have participated and excelled in at least one area of extra curricular activities sports, debates, quizzing, and community services etc.
• The student must have received at least an `A ’ grade assessment on his / her summer training to the respective company and in the dissertation project undertake by him. There should not have been any disciplinary action taken or pending against the student on account of breach of rules of conduct and discipline.

Selection Process

• A detailed resume of the student;
• A self-drafted Statement of Achievements, clearly mentioning career goals (typed, not exceeding 500 words and relating to the tenure in UPES;
• Certificates of Merit or Letters of Commendation, as record of achievements stated; and
• A consolidated semester-wise, subject-wise mark sheet
