Hi,
2.1 is out and I thought I'd use iBares to do a complete backup. I
used it once before but haven't since then. I had iBares on my
Macbook. I have a new iMac now and am running iBares from there.
I have iPhone connected, run iBares, it tries to establish rsa
communications, after a long time it eventually opens a bash terminal
window and an ssh terminal window.

##### Creating rsa keypairs
#####
##### Please enter iPhone root password when requested!
##### Your MAC will ask if it should accept the device as 'trusted
host'. Please enter 'yes' then.
#####
<hit enter to proceed>
##### Local RSA key already exists. Key will be used for iPhone.

ssh: connect to host 156.56.xxx.xxx port 22: Operation timed out

##### rsa configuration completed!

...a few minutes pass and then....
##### The following Applications list from your iPhone should show
*without* asking for the password!
#####
...more minutes pass and then...
ssh: connect to host 156.56.xxx.xxx port 22: Operation timed out

##### Close this window to return to iBackup

That is all that happens...I close terminal window(s) as instructed,
click OK and iBares goes back into "checking rsa communications"
again...but nothing happens.
I've force quit a couple times but no joy.
Latest OS on the iMac, just did a complete update yesterday. 2.02
software on iPhone
Maybe I should just use my MacBook? Haven't tried the copy of iBares I
have there. I was wanting to use my new, spiffy, wonderful iMac for
everything.
:)
